It acts as a personal research companion, delivering relevant and accurate information quickly.

The Research Assistant is built to provide you with high-quality research support.

• Centralized Query Hub: Ask questions about research papers, findings, methodologies, and more, all in one place.
• Relevant and Accurate Information: The assistant is designed to provide precise answers to the research-related questions.
• Reference Links: Crucially, the Research Assistant provides "reference links" alongside its responses. This allows you to easily verify the information and delve deeper into the original sources.
• Feedback Mechanism: You can provide feedback on the responses you receive.
• Regenerate Responses: If a response isn't quite what you looking for, you have the option to regenerate it for an alternative answer.

How to Access the Research Assistant

You can access the Research Assistant from two convenient locations:

1. From the Chat Assistant Module:

   • Navigate to the dropdown menu within the Chat Assistant interface of the expanded Digital Assistant module.
   • Select "Research Assistant" from the drop down.

2. Directly from the Assistant Module (Full Version of Digital Assistant):

   • Locate the dedicated "Research Assistant" from the Assistants module.
   • Select the Research Assistant and start a new conversation.

How to Use the Research Assistant

The Research Assistant is designed to provide you with high-quality, verifiable research support. Follow these simple steps to effectively utilize its capabilities:

1. Access the Assistant: To begin, open the Research Assistant using one of the designated access methods.

   

2. Type Your Query: In the provided input field, clearly and concisely type your research question. Be as specific as possible to ensure the most relevant response.

   Example: "What are the primary methodologies used in qualitative science research?"

   

3. Review the Response: The Research Assistant will generate a comprehensive response based on its extensive knowledge base.

   

   Once you have reviewed the generated response and its references, you can click on "Start Research" to proceed with the research journey. ALternatively, you can click on "Edit Plan" to make any changes as required.

   

   If the initial response isn't quite what you were looking for, you can click on the "Regenerate" button. The assistant will then provide a different response to the query.

   

4. Show Thought Process: You can click on the dropdown of the generated research document and select "Show Thinking" to define how the model came up with the generated research document and what was the thought process behind it.

   

5. Copy and Export: You can also choose to copy the research document content to your clipboard or export the generated research content in .txt,.docx or .pdf formats.
